Nestled between savannah and badlands, the village that has become known as Madelta has a long history as a stopover on land trips between Everburn and Fort Pryvoca. A gold rush occured somewhere around secondyear that nigh stripped it's mines dry. Recently a revitalisation effort has begun on behalf of Everburn, as this town stands along the proposed extension route of the Grand Overworld Railway, and it is one of the only sources of red sand and terracotta in the known Realm.
