Savannah Hill was originally founded as a waystation during the construction of the Cross-Ocean Highway/Railway project to connect Everburn with Aridnea. After laying dormant for some time, a commercial boom in the form of the Savannah Hill Mall has brought some new life to the area, hosting a Psymart and a Good Gourd. The region remains relatively rural.
